Segovia - dibujos Julio 2013

Después de BCN estuve unos días en SG (Segovia) practicando técnicas, mezclándolas y generalmente poniendo nerviosas a mis acompañantes sobre todo cuando las dibujaba :)
Aquí van algunos de los dibujos en el cuaderno mas ligero y pequeño. Mas adelante pondré las acuarelas (mas grandes) que ahora puedo escanear también.

After BCN I went to Segovia (SG) for a while, and practiced techniques, mixed them a bit and also managed to annoy my companions especially when I drew them:) Here go a few of the sketches I did in the lighter, smaller book. Later, I will upload some of the watercolours (larger drawings) that I can now also scan.

Los dos últimos dibujos los hice desde la terraza del bar nuevo del Alcázar, y "ayudada" con el spray del ventilador/humidificador para mojarme el dibujo y difuminarlo.

 

The last two drawings from the terrace of the new bar in the Alcazar  were helped by the spray of the humidifier fan to wet the drawing and blur it

Feliz 2012! - .Happy 2012!Repasando lo que he hice en el 2011, aqui va un cuadernillo que llene este verano, es un librillo que me hice donde las hojas se doblan en tres y poder tener un formato alargado.
Looking back to my work in 2011, I found this little sketchbook I did this summer, with sheets that fold in three so that I can have a long landscape format to draw on.

Venezia - 11th October 2011

Venice in October - there i was a bit jelaous of the sketcrawls around the world that i was missing but here I was in Venice where I manage to escape from the family group and spend a whole day sketching - what a luxury. Here go the sketches. Enjoy
Estaba yo un poco envidiosa de todos los que podian ir al sketchcrawl en Octubre pero un poco antes estaba en Venezia donde me pude escapar un dia del grupo familiar para dibujar. Me lo pase en grande.
Aqui van mis sketches.

Un lujo para la vista y con suerte el tiempo estaba templado y con buena luz.
Para empezar unas vistas de canales.
A luxury and with good weather - to start with a view canal views.

El Gran Canal (arriba) como siempre a tope de trafico de barcazas y gondolas.

Scala del Bovolo (abajo) - espiral exterior - el palacio esta en reconstruccion.

Atardecer en la plaza de San Marcos - la luz disminuia ya y las sombras cambiaban rapidamente.

Late afternoon in San Marcos piazza - the sun was settign and the shadows quickly changing.



Retrospective 7 - France 2010

Catching up with last year's sketches - these I did during a trip around the Loire in France - Chinon and Chambord castles.

And this at La Rochelle in the coast - a place to eat oysters...

Outdoor painting 6th July 2011 - Newbury West Mill Allotments

We spent the day sketching in the allotments yesterday, very interesting and difficult to choose - between long views - i did a quick pen sketch at the end - or close views - of plants and sheds  - in the end i spent quite a bit of the time near Carol's plot and did a few of the poppies with and without petals and the great marigold field she has. The beans and fennel with the background of the shed was also very beautiful
